▶Q: What should I prepare for the simcard?
Please ensure your phone is unlocked before you travel (i.e., it can load any simcard for any network). Check with your phone manufacturer or Australian network provider to ensure your device is not locked.
▶Q: Do I need a VPN to access Google/Facebook?
No, a VPN is not required. This SIM allows you to have direct access to Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other Western websites in China, just like you are in Australia! (Note: AI Apps and TikTok are excluded).
▶Q: Can I use it in Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan?

▶Q: How do I activate the simcard?
After arrival, simply insert the SIM into your phone, turn off flight mode, and turn on roaming. It will automatically start the activation process.
▶Q: When does the 7 to 30 days commence?
It commences when the SIM card is inserted into the phone at the destination and auto-activates.
▶Q: Is there daily limit? E.g. 1GB or 500mb per day?
A: No, there is no daily limit.
▶Q: How do I check my data usage?
We will email you a secure data checking website after the SIM card is posted to you.
▶Q: What happens when I use up the data?
Once you use up the purchased high-speed data (e.g., 20GB, 30GB, etc.), your speed will be reduced to 256kbps. You can continue to use data at this reduced speed for the remainder of your plan's duration. Or please contact us to top-up.
▶Q: Can I make phone calls with this simcard?
This is a data-only simcard and does not include a phone number for traditional mobile calls or SMS. However, we recommend using WeChat or WhatsApp to make voice and video calls. You can call travel companions, local friends, or family back in Australia for free using your data, provided the other person has the same app installed.
