Please ensure your phone is unlocked before you travel, i.e. ensure your phone can load any simcard for any network. Please check with your phone manufacturer or Australian network provider to ensure your phone is not locked to any network.
▶Q: How do I activate the simcard and surf the internet?
A: After arrival, simply insert the sim into your phone, turn off flight mode, turn on roaming, the sim will then auto-activate and you can start surfing the internet.
▶Q: When does the 7 to 30 days commence?
It commences when the simcard is auto-activated at destination.
▶Q: When do I need to activate the simcard?
Please ensure it is auto-activated before the "Activate By" date in the "Plan Specifications" above.
▶Q: Can I make phone calls with this simcard?
This is a data-only simcard and does not include a phone number for traditional mobile calls or SMS. However, we recommend using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger to make voice and video calls. You can call travel companions, local friends, or family back in Australia for free using your data, provided the other person has the same app installed.
