You can install the eSIM in Australia or Japan. The eSIM will only auto-activate when you arrive in Japan and connect to the network.
▶Q: When does the 5 to 30 days commence?
The validity period commences when the eSIM is auto-activated in Japan.
▶Q: Is there a daily data limit?
Yes. This plan provides 1GB of high-speed 4G data per day. Once you use 1GB in a day, the speed will reduce to 128kbps (unlimited) until the next day starts (resetting at midnight Japan time).
▶Q: Can I make phone calls with this eSIM?
This is a data-only eSIM and does not include a phone number for traditional mobile calls or SMS. However, we recommend using WhatsApp, LINE, or FaceTime to make voice and video calls using your data.
