After arrival, simply insert the sim into your phone, turn off flight mode, turn on roaming, then you can start surfing the internet.
▶Q: When does the 5 to 30 days commence?
It commences when the simcard is inserted into the phone in Japan.
▶Q: Is there a daily data limit?
Yes. This plan provides 2GB of high-speed 4G data per day. Once you use 1GB in a day, the speed will reduce to 128kbps (unlimited) until the next day starts (midnight Japan time).
▶Q: Can I make phone calls with this simcard?
This is a data-only simcard and does not include a phone number for traditional mobile calls or SMS. However, we recommend using WhatsApp, LINE, or FaceTime to text or make voice and video calls. You can call travel companions, local friends, or family back in Australia for free using your data, provided the other person has the same app installed.
